We always eat chinese food — but have you ever wondered what a real high end chinese meal is like? This meal cost US$200 (RD$7000) per person, and is considered the best Shanghai has to offer. My verdict? Pretty good, although I probably wouldn't rush back. edit

FIsh maw and shark's fin chicken stock served with fresh lily bulbs
Chilled drunken chicken topped with 'Shao Xing' wine shaved ice (drunken chicken referred to the chicken being soaked in wine LOL)
Oolong tea to drink during dinner
Dim Sum
Bird's nest for dessert.. not quite my style, but it tasted ok. The waitress assured me that it was very good for women's skin!
